How Ennead Cineplex handles reader submissions, screening notes, interview transcripts and the technical traces left behind when you read the journal.

When you pitch a piece or send a screening note through the contact page, we receive your name, email address, phone number if you include it, and the message itself. Alongside that, our hosting and analytics tools log standard technical data: browser type, device, approximate region, referring page and the pages you open during a visit.
We use a small number of cookies to keep the site working and to understand which articles get read to the end. Analytics events are aggregated and never tied to a named reader. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time; the journal will still load, though some preferences may reset between visits.
Submissions are kept so two crew members can review a screening note before publication, so we can reply to a pitch, and so contributor credits stay accurate in the archive. Technical logs exist to keep the site online, spot abuse and see which repertory seasons readers actually follow. We do not sell reader data, and we do not use it for financial or speculative promotion of any kind.
A short list of processors supports the journal: our hosting provider, an analytics service, and the email and form tools that deliver your message to the crew inbox. Each one handles data under its own agreement and only for the purposes above. We do not pass submissions to advertisers, and we do not publish a contributor's private contact details.
You can ask to see what we hold about you, request a correction, ask for a copy in a portable format, or have your submission deleted. You can also withdraw consent for analytics at any time. Readers in the EU and California have additional statutory rights under GDPR and CCPA, and we honour those requests on the same terms. Write to us and we will respond within a reasonable window.
Nothing on this site claims an official affiliation, a guaranteed outcome or an endorsement we have not been given. Screening notes state the venue, format and date; corrections are appended rather than quietly rewritten. If you spot a claim that reads as misleading, tell us and we will look at it.
Send access, correction or deletion requests to the crew. Include enough detail for us to find your submission.
